New Year, new look!

O-o-o-o, look!
The wife and I had this New Year’s tradition for years and years and years… where we would stay home on New Year’s Eve, hiding safely away from all the amateur drunks on the road (‘cuz we were the pros)… and re-arrange the furniture in the living room.
It gave us a new look for the New Year! Fast forward to now… we no longer drink (at all), we’re usually in bed by 9, and I’m too cranky to stay up all hours moving the damn furniture around. So I re-designed the Web site instead. I needed to upgrade some of the backend software anyway, so why not break everything at once?
I wanted a more “magazine-y” look, something that would expose more than one article at a time. And I have every intention of expanding the categories to book reviews, recommended reading, Web resources, and whatever “stuff” you might find useful. So what would you find useful? Wanna help build it? Well actually, I’ll build it, but if you wanna help write some stuff, I can always use the help!
And now for the disclaimer… it’s still a work in progress. The Leonard Family database you all know and love is still in the old template, which makes navigating back and forth a little confusing. I’ll fix it eventually (I need to upgrade that software, too), but until then, you’re stuck with a slight disconnect. Click the database link in the top navigation bar to get there, click the top banner or the Home button to get back to the blog.
I’m expecting 2-3 genealogical “gifts” in the next few weeks, so it’s entirely possible you’ll be hearing from me again before the end of the month. Until then… waddaya think? Am I completely full of crap or is this a better look than the old one?
Cheers,
Rick

Rick, I really like the new look. It’s more open and easier to move around in. Thank you so much for the change.
Rick, I like the new look too. It is very professional looking! Great job! Jenn
The new face of Leonard Family Legends lives up to the “blue bloods” of Massachusetts!!!
Great job

Yes, you are probably full of crap, but it is not reflected in this new and improved venue. Pretty darn impressive. One could almost say ‘professional’. All kidding aside, we are quite grateful for your hard work and ingenuity and patience with all of us. What a service you are providing. Hire someone to move your furniture, this is your calling
