  CARSON< Mary GS 12 May 1905, p. 3 The remains of Mrs. Mary CARSON, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Birkley, in Bloomington, IL., were brought here Friday..The deceased was 87 years of age and a sister of the Late Col. John S. Scobey, Mrs. Elsie LaRue, and Mrs. James A. Cunningham. Besides Mrs. Birkley another daughter, Miss Chlo CARSON, of Indianapolis, survives. She was the widoe of james CARSON and with her husband lived for many years on a farm four miles east of this city...
