He m Lucinda J. Leonard9 dau of Joseph Leonard and Nancy Slack Longwell, on 14 Feb 1856 at Big Lick Twp, Hancock Co, OH. Lucinda b abt 1837 Big Lick; d 30 May 1914 Vincennes, Knox, IN. 1870, 1880 and 1900 they were in English Twnsp, Iowa Co, IA. Jacob and Lucinda had six children: i. George M. Paul b Feb 1893 Oregon. ii. Sarah E. Weimer b Dec 1858 IA; m Thomas W. Doll. A 1900 English Twp., Iowa, IA lists Thomas W. Doll, 41 b May 1859 IA, Father b VA, mother IA; occ farmer, m 18 years; wife Sarah G. 41 b Dec 1858 IA m 18 yrs., 2/2 living; living with Jacob 74 and Lucinda 62 (Jacobs occ Landlord). Next door was Martha Doll b Aug 1844 OH, wd, 9 children/6 living, occ landlord; with children George M. Doll b Jul 1872 IA, occ farmer; Melissa E. b Oct 1873 and Mamie E. b Sept 1882. Lola b 22 Oct 1899 Vincennes; d Oct 1985. Russell lived most of his life in Vincennes where he owned and operated R. C. Moore Auto Parts Store, North Second St for more than 50 years retiring in 1973. He was a World War I veteran; member of First Church of God, Masonic Lodge #1, Scottish Rite, and Hadji Shrine Temple, Evansville. He d of Bronchial Pneumonia, mild diabieties, and a Cardiac condition at 80 years of age. vi-iii. Paul A. Moore b 27 Jul 1901; d Nov 1978 m Virginia A. about 1921. Children Betty M. and Robert M. vi-iv. Ada Ruth Moore b abt 1914 Ida Monier Weimer8 (Jacob7, Jacob6, Jacob5, Jacob4, Johannas3, Johannas Sebastian2, Hans1) b Jun 1865 OH, was dau of Jacob Weimer, Jr. and Lucinda J. Leonard. Ida m William Alvin Myers abt 1884/85 in Iowa. There was also a Frederick Myers listed in an 1840 Big Lick Twnsp, Hancock Co, Ohio, census but I do not know if there is any connection with William Myers family. Their daughter, Dora, married my paternal Grandfather.
