      The death of Mrs. Hariw.y Lytium,
      residing south of Carbon, which occurred
      Wednesday morning at 7
      o'clock was a severe shock to her
      family, neighbors and friends. She
      had a stroke of paralysis while attending
      the funeral of a friend, Mrs.
      Oscar Nurigon, the previous afternoon
      at tho Highland Advcntist
      Christian church. She was taken
      from the church anil a physician was
      immediately summoned who could
      give only temporary relief and tho
      lady was taken home where she expired
      the following morning without
      having regained consciousness. The
      funeral was held yesterday (Friday)
      morning at 10 o'clock at the family
      residence and was conducted by Rev.
      A. Y. Cupp. Interment was made in
      Oakland cemetery at Quincy where
      her father, G. W. Gravitt, who died
      January 13 was buried. Nancy
      Emma Gravittt was born July 14,
      1870, in Montgomery county, and
      was aged 44 years, 2 months and 2
      days. She was married to B. T. Lynam
      February 13, 1888, in this county
      where she has spent almost her
      entire life. Four children were born
      to them and are Miss Agnes Lynam,
      W. J. Lynam, G. A. Lynam and
      Ralph Lynam, who with ths husband
      survive her. She also leaves her
      mother, Mrs. George W. Gravitt, five
      brothers and three sisters. They are
      W. E. Gravitt, J. W. Gravitt, S. C.
      Gravitt, G. W. Gravibt, J. C. Gravitt,
      Mrs. John Fail, Mrs. I. Johnson and
      Mrs. Jeanettc Hunt, all residing in
      this locality. Mrs. Lynam will he
      greatly missed by many friends as
      she was of a jolly disposition and
      though she had been under the doctor's
      care for a couple of years, she
      always had a smile and happy greeting
      for all she chanced to me«U She
      was always hopeful over her condition,
      and would not admit but what
      she was eoneidcrably improved. She
