Taken shortly before Joseph's death in 1925, probably in Oklahoma, possibly in New Mexico. Child is likely a great-grandchild of both men.

Location of Caleb Leonard, Jr.'s homestead is described, in various documents as "northwest of Brownsville," "near Bentleysville," and "on the Ellsworth Coal Company property." The family home was described as "a two-story log cabin" that was occupied until 1983! Salvaged for construction materials over several years afterward.
