Notes: At close to ten feet tall, Daniel Leonard's headstone towers over several hundred others. Tradition says it was donated by a debtor who hadn't made good on his debts to Daniel before Daniel died. Daniel, wife Jane, son Harry, daughters Sara and Luzanna are all buried on the same plot. Most of Daniel's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are also buried in Prairie Rose Cemetery.
